Please don’t cry for me for today I am free….

as I transcend from this journey i can see, my family, will always love me.

They stand over me crying in tears as i try to explain that i am not here

I have gone to be with the Lord because … he needed me more

i cannot look back on the past, i can only see my today

so please don’t cry for me for today i am free

you may not understand it all but it’s the plan God had for Him to call

we leave this life young or old

and it’s sad to say our good byes

but please don’t cry

i know you will miss me, i felt you all kiss me as  i intertwined with the divine

please understand God has a plan and it’s not ours to be told

my life as i lived it cannot be erased but the memory will now unfold

remember the laughter, remember the tears, remember the journey, remember my years

only time can heal your broken heart as you try to move on it may seem dark

and when you fall into tears of abyss

remember … my very last kiss

please don’t cry for me … for today my soul was finally set free!
